Vote 2010 Kick-off Canvass

Vote 2010 LogoOn June 5, Organizing for America is kicking off the 2010 canvassing season with a kick-ass concept: Reach out to first-time voters in 2008 and get them to commit to vote in 2010. Barack Obama brought out millions of first-time voters in 2008, resulting in the best showing by a Democratic presidential candidate in decades. We need to keep those people coming back to the polls in 2010, 2012, and on. There are three different canvasses to choose from:

  1. 10:00 am to 2:00 pm - David Brown's house - 512 N Meadowcroft Ave 15216 (Map)

We will fan out across the South Hills to make personal contact with 2008 first-time voters and ask them to sign this Pledge Card. We will also have materials from some specific campaigns if people want more information. Sign up here or email David Brown at dmbrown@icubed.com.

  2. 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Upper St. Clair Municipal Park 1820 McLaughlin Run Rd 15241 (Map)

Same idea, but limited to Upper St. Clair. Sign up here or email Mary Ellen Ralph at MaryLNRalph@aol.com.

  3. 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm - Ninamary Langsdale's house - 419 Glaids Dr 15243 (Map)

GOTV training followed by canvassing, with a bonus of 20 business cards for attendees, and a BBQ at 5:30. Sign up here or email Ninamary Langsdale at nlangsdale@gmail.com.
